This is a loosely painted work with bold strokes that define the waves on a windy day, placing the viewer on the shoreline watching boats skim along the horizon. The original work appears much deeper than what one may view online. Aquas and blues are strong, with hints of pink in the sky. Signed by the artist in the lower left corner. This is a fine miniature work that springs to life with multiple coats of high gloss varnish. This varnish provides not only a beautiful sheen, reminiscent of works by the masters, but protects and urges the colors to truly shimmer.

Nicely surrounded with a gold, concave, wooden frame complete with a bright white linen liner. The frame contains small, tasteful, partially finished corners and boasts highlights of red and gray beneath a gold leaf finish. The depth of the frame is 2”.
